Project Overview
As part of the continued redevelopment of the Glenquarie Shopping Centre, Bermagui Constructions were engaged to design and construct the inclusion of a 3500m2 Target store within the centre. The major works involved the demolition of an existing Franklins store the extension of the built area and the upgraded the existing infrastructure to meet the future requirements of Target as a major tenant of this large retail space and to ensure compliance with existing building codes.
The tenancy works included the installation of the store layout, extension of the existing unit increasing floor space, new external, internal and inter tenancy walls, new lighting layouts, new ceiling finishes, new joinery, new floor finishes; both tile and vinyl plank and new car parking and delivery access layouts.
Bermagui completed the scope of works within a tight timeframe, ensuring a high quality finish at deadline for the shop to open in line with the agreement for lease.
