Project Details
Key College – Chapel Campus is a Coeducational/Secondary/Non-government Key located in the metropolitan location of Merrylands, New South Wales. The school has a total enrolment of 20 students, 40% are boys and 60% are girls. The school caters for years 9 to grade 10. Chapel School Offers an opportunity for young people to make positive change for the future.
It offers programs for young people at risk of becoming disengaged or already disconnected from mainstream education.
Bermagui Constructions were engaged to refurbish the existing heritage protected administration building into useable class rooms for the students.
The works included a full heritage restoration of an administration building including new terracotta roof shingles, sandstone remediation, underpinning, timber framing refurbishment and restoration, the creation of new classrooms, BCA upgrade and installation of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical services.
