The benchmark for environmental sustainability

Our Defence portfolio is one that displays the horse power of Bermagui Constructions.

Many of the Defence projects are in response to a directive from the Commonwealth,  to increase the Department of Defence, defence capability.

Whether the project is the construction of aircraft hangars for the relocation of Blackhawk helicopter to 6^th Aviation Regiment Holsworthy, air to air standard range missile testing facility AASRAM or the new headquarters for the 6^th Brigade Regiment  at Victoria Barracks, Bermagui Constructions designs and constructs these projects to meet the Commonwealth objectives.

Whilst defence capability and facility operational functionality is crucial, all works and services must comply with the requirements of the Building Code of Australia, all other relevant Scales, Standards and Statutory Regulations and where appropriate, Defence MFPE (Manual Fire Protection Engineering), to the DS-SC-ID approved design. Additionally the Department of Defence sets the benchmark for environmental sustainability and energy efficiency. Bermagui Constructions has adopted this benchmark and applies it to our private projects.
