Project Details
Bermagui Constructions where engaged by Penrith City Council to structurally refurbish Ripples Aquatic Centre.
The works included the removal of the existing roof and roof structure which was replace with a new Kingspan roof system supported by reduce number of purlins, a complete refurbishment of the filtration system, re tiling of the of the pool, replacement of water stop seals and the refurbishment of the pool concourse. In addition Bermagui Construction undertook remedial repairs to the building structure and applied protective coatings to ensure the structural longevity of the centre.
The project was completed to the immense satisfaction of the client and adding a striking and modern aesthetic to the facility that has provided a new lease on life to the Aquatic Centre, all completed whilst the centre remained operational and finished on time for the seasonal open of the ‘swimming season’
